Default how close will you put two stands to one another

how close will you put to stands to one another say ladder stands

if you find a good spot 100 yards from one will you move it or put up another

and if you hunt two people anduse two stands like a husband and wife team do you put two by one another or say 20 or 30 yards apart to open your shooting up

I have 6 stands, and 1 ground blind on 10 acres. My stands are anywhere from 50 yards to 100 yards apart. They are all ladder stands, and I still find myself moving them around alot.

I have stands that are less than 50 yards apart. Wind and other factors sometimes demand that I be able to be spontanious. As far as hunting with a buddy, I have set up both ways. I have had two hangers in the same tree and also ten yards apart. It depends on the set up.

I have two stands within 60 yards of each other. Because the deer use different paths in the morning and evening.

I have certain trails that have stands within 60 yards of each other to allow for wind shifts. Based on what you are hunting food plot, trails, etc.place them to best use the wind to your advantage, if you have the extra stands.
