Where the Buck Beds...?

Does a Mature buck prefer the Top of an OAK Ridge, or the Thick Bottom Tag Alder to bed in ?

I think ths depends a lot on hunting pressure. I have seen them bed in a patch of brush that doesn't look big enough for a rabbit. So I guess to answer your question: If the hunting pressure is light, he may perfer a high observation point that has a food source. If hunting pressure is rather heavy then he will most likely be in the last place you would think to look or the thick bottom.
