Default Do you use scents?

I used them in the past but never really had any luck with it, 4 seasons ago was the last time I used any. I am hunting a new area where I know there are some nice bucks. Have any of you had success with any certain brand name.

I use various scents, mostly as "stoppers" to get deer to hold still long enough to take a shot.

I use Deer urine 100% of my time hunting ...why wouldnt you ? Just another tool to use. I have gone to using Fresh Deer Urine and it has made a good thing even better. Is deer urine a 100% effective ...NO But I have shot most of my bucks with there nose sticking in my wicks or scrapes that I have made.

I am using StoneyCreeks products

last year i used mrs.doepee doe urine w/estrus. i might as well have not used it, because besides the one buck that smelled it (the last thing he did) i had bucks galore walk down wind of it several times, and didnt even look at it let alone come into it. i will have to note that i was out in the peak of the rut when every doe in the state is in heat, so....everyone knows the "fake" (even though its real) stuff doesnt compete with the real thing.
