Better to sit all daya week to 10 days after the full moon. That is the peek rut time. So come the 3rd and 4th it will be balls to the wall!!!!! WCL

Agreed! I'll be doing that on Saturday and the actual full moon is tomorrow.

Saturday will be my first all day sit. Cleared it with the queen... I am really looking forward to see what kind of movement I will see. I will be doctoring up one of my big social scrapes right next to my treelounge stand Friday afternoon after the 11 oclock funeral I am attending tomorrow. Ipurposely put my treelounge standset up on one heck of a wagon wheel intersection for all day sits. I havent moved that stand in 5 years and have seen a lot of elk and good bucks from it. Its also very close to where I killed my biggest buck. I haven't hunted it since mid Sept.So if I get init at about 1pm.I get 5 hoursFriday and 12 on Saturdays all day sit. Taking my camera and cell phone with internet to visit with you guys if the day gets slow.. LOL I feel like I am going into this stand for the first time..its been so long since I have been in there.. The old grey buck I hunted last year lives in there and the 4x5 I filmed all this summer.. Hope one of them shows.. that is if they are still breathing..

Have a good one..temps really dropped here today..should be really good hunting tomorrow evening and all day Sat.. I cant wait..

oh, I am taking my rattling antlers starting tomorrow..
