I'll tell you what, if you can afford it, get the Fred Bear Instinct. Unbelievable bow. Super fast...super incredibly quiet. I bought my Dad one for Christmas last year and he loves it. I'm looking to buy myself one now. He's 66 and can shoot tiny groups at 40 yards. I'm sure the Element is comparible. I think it is $100 less and a little longer axle length is all.

I test fired the Instinct and it's a solid performer, plenty fast enough and hits hard. The thing I liked best about it was the grip was among the best I've felt in terms of support. Nice bows. Check out their main website, looks like they're coming out with a completely new line very soon.

I have the Element. Amazing bow for the price. Had it since it came out and not a problem with it.

It doesn't look like the Instinct in 08'. Check out their new line, click on products

BTW, go with the 60-70 pound bow. You'll be pulling at least 60 in a matter of days. Trust me. Just start out with it set at about 57 at first. Why limit yourself?

It looks like this one will be replacing the Instinct

I like the Done Deal personally. Check out those limbs, different!
