Default Attacked by Nature......

OK so got off work early, ran home, and headed out to the stand for the first sit of the season....only to be sent home early by an attacking hornet!![:'(]The darn thing just wouldn't leave me alone! It was just one (a big one[&:])and I was being dive-bombed by what sounded like a freakin' twin-engine plane. I know, I know call me a wuss or whatever, but I've been stung by these suckers and (explitive) it hurts.

So I just wanted to vent andask when do these suckers die off for the year....

That's why I wear a cap 24/7. I always have a bug killer. You think you have it bad? I'm in South Texas and failed to notice the huge yellow jackets nestthat was in the limb that I waschopping on with a machete last weekend. Cap or no cap, I got hit 6 times. I won't soon forget that.

Last time I was stung was from ground hornets I happened to push my push mower over. I thought it was pebbles stinging me until I realized, 5 stings later....I was inside looking out with my mower still running....lol

Now, put your big boy pants back on and go hunting. [8D]

Wimpy ... wimpy ... wimpy [8D]you let one little hornet stop you from hunting , like Rob saidput your big boy pants back on and get out there.
You shouldn't let a hornet get in the way , the next time KILL the darn thing and continue to enjoy your hunt.
