Headed down to PA this weekend to do the rest of the last minute setup of new stands, tweak a fewold stand locations, hang insulation in the cabin, and do some glassing. I had a real slammer walk out in one of the fields last time I was there just before dark, but unfortunately he was a good 700 yards away and I only had my 8x42's with me.......I might be buying a spotting scope this weekend. All I know is he was well above and outside his ears.......

Plan is to lay down 8 does by 11/8......and hunt the way I WANT to hunt from that point on.
That's the plan. We'll see if they cooperate. I'm not above the positive thinking that I'll get a shot at a shooter before Nov, though. If I don't .....it won't be because I'm not out there.
