anyone use a fred bear element

RE: anyone use a fred bear element
Last year I did a lot of research before buying a new bow. If looking at the best VALUE, the Fred Bear bows were mentioned in every review (bowsite, outdoor life, etc..). I personally didn't shoot the element, but I did shoot the Fred Bear CODE and that it was a great bow, In fact I liked it more than the Trykon, but not quite as much as the Bowtech or the Switchback XT (which is what I bought). Were I ona tight budget (usually am, but wife let me splurge last year), I'd have chosen the Fred Bear. Of course, that's personal preference (I'm new here, but am guessing there's been plenty of Mathews vs. Bowtech vs. Hoyt debates), go shoot them and choose for yourself. good luck

When looking for a new bow I looked at and shot many single cam bows in my draw length. I stayed away from dual and hybrid cam bows (personal choice) and I ended up with the Fred Bear Code. It just felt the best in my hands and got me on target faster than the others. Money was not an issue though I did like the price. I can afford any bow I want...hell I can afford a hundred of them, so believe me the cost was not an issue.
I like the Code and I'm looking forward to hunting with it this year.
Go out and shoot a few, find the one that "talks to you" if it's in your price range...buy it.
Good luck and have fun.
