best 4" vanes??
well...what do you guys think the best 4" vane is? i have tried smaller vanes with wraps, but for some reason with my bow and set up with the arrows i shoot a 4" vane shoots the best. The vanes i use now come on my arrow (carbon wolverine 31"), but they tend to frey and won't stay straight (like when my arrow goes through my target the vane gets all messed up).....i need a stronger 4" vane or maybe a very stong heavier 3" vane???? any ideas??

RE: best 4" vanes??
Blazers, they are shorter but work better than a softer 4 inch softer vane. I get similar performance out of a little blazer as I do with 4 or 5 inch feathers as far as steering and control go.
If you want to go with vanes you just can't not give blazers a try.
You need to fletch them with some sort of offset or helical though. Fletching them straight will gain you nothing in my opinion.

if i am going to put a 2" blazer on there do i need to place it on my shaft at the same location as the old 4" vane (all the way back towards the nock)? or do i need to adjust it more forward for balance??
