Default ? on hunting in Indiana

Any body know what an Indiana non-resident archery tag costs? Can you buy them over the counter and is there a lot of public hunting ground there? Thanks

It depends on where you want to hunt. I live in Southwest Indiana and there is some public hunting ground. Everytime I go to public land it is overwelmed with people. So I usually stick to private property. But Hoosier National Forest has some good land if you are close to it. I am not to familiar with Northern Indiana. But down here the hunting is pretty good.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm checking into it because I'm TAGGED out on bucks here in Il(woohoo), also tagged one in Kansas, so I'm looking to continue my dream season. Also getting kind of bored.

You can purchase licenses on-line on the IDNR website. Print out at least three copies, sign all three (it's not a legal license unless the original signature is on it), keep on in your wallet, one in the truck and another in a safe place - anything can happen.

Good luck and happy hunting!
