Why wouldn't it be legal? You can buy cows from a farmer. Chickens too.
When I was younger we would go to a hog farm and the guy would let my uncle shoot one with a .22, behind the ear. It would run around squeeling for a bit and then it was hauled away and cleaned. This isn't any different.

Doesnt bother me, just like Farmcntry said, nice cattle. If someone wants to pay for a pair of antlers, so be it. Hope they enjoy them. I never will, but wont gripe if they do. Its their money, let them spend it. Ill simply laugh when they tell me about the deer mounted on their wall.
