I'm young, I have no reason to use an ATV.

Heck yes I use my atv for hunting. I'm 28 and had bad lungs. Just had a double lung transplant on the 17th of Oct. Its helped me get into a lot of hunting places that I wouldn't have been able to. I still walked 1/4-1/2 mile depending on how I felt though. Mostly I used it to get game out or tree stands in and scouting right after the season is closed.

yep no point in walkin over a mile and getting all sweaty not to mention crossing drainage drenches gettin all wet. easy to get the deer out without cape damage for mounting too. i jus park in a big briar patch so its concealed bout 400 yards away from my stand

I use my atv but i park it a good ways from where im hunting at, deer seem to smell the exhaust and gasoline from the atv and it spooks them i believe, so to be on the safe side, walk the rest of the way

Where I live now I walk as I only have about 15 acres to hunt but back home in Kansas I use an atv or truck to get part of the ways back as our family and neighborshas adjoining property's that come out to be around 1500 or so acres.
