Default First ever drop tine buck!!!

I shot this buck yesterday morning as he was chasing two does through the woods. They led him almost directly under my stand and the shot was a mear 5 yards. The arrow actually went through the back and came out his belly collecting the lungs. He made it about 65 yards which made for a nice tracking job. He even died in a small grass patch so I didn't have to even drag him an inch. I'm shooting a bowtech with Montec broadheads this year and have had great success. I have shot three deer this year with this combination and the totaldistance for all three deer put togetherafter the shot is about 150 yards.

First nice buck, great job!!

I have shot 10 deer with Montecs now, and all but 2 I have seen go down.

This last doe I shot was not a great shot, but the Montec got the job done!

That is a dandy! What county in Indiana did you take him in? Or if you don't want to give that up, what part of Indiana, southern indiana? Congrats from one Hoosier to another!
