Wyoming Resident wants to hunt near Zelienople, PA
My wife has a good friend that lives in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. I am wondering if it would be worth my effort to bring a bow along on a trip out there to visit? Does the state of Pennsylvania have any state or federal land a guy can hunt on?
I will make sure we time our visit during a open hunting season.
Thanks,
WK

Archery season runs from Sept 30 til mid November
There is a large portion of state owned land.
Go to
http://www.pgc.state.pa.us for license info and state game land locations

Good luck to you. I have a friend that lives in Pennsylvania and he says that the deer are huge there this year!!
So...what would it take to come out to Wyoming and hunt?? I went there a couple of years ago and have a nice mulie with a 20 1/2 spread, but of course always am looking for something even bigger.

NeBuckHunter,
There are all kinds of public lands to hunt in Wyoming. No need to trade a hunt. I grew up in the north Eastern part of Wyoming near Gillette. I live in western Nebraska now so if you ever want to hunt anything in Wyoming give me a shout. I always go up there and hunt something.

Wolfkiller, Pm me if you want. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and have some friends in the Butler area, I'm sure you could work something out with a little effort and phone time. That is a good WMU for a nice buck, and bow season is on during the rut.

Wolf Killer,
Check out Morraine State Park, its bordered on all sides by private farmland and doesn't get that much pressure during bow season.
