Default Got another Mod. Cup entry

Whew, what a night. We had a nice cold front come through a couple of days ago, and I hadn't been huntin in about a week, so I decided to go and try my luck tonight. I got home from school, took a shower and headed out to my spot. Got set up and started doing Estrous Bleats on my "Can" about every half hour. I was hunting on the edge of a freshly picked corn field. At about 4:45 I hear a twig snap to my left. Look over and see tines headed my way. The buck gets about 35 yards, tries to cut the corner on me, so I use the can again. He stops, turned around, and circles around behind me, goes down into a ravine(downwind) and jumps up a doe and a fawn. He chases them out into the corn field(still outta range) and starts chasing the doe. He gets about 200 yards away and I hit the call again, and he starts heading my way. All this time I was watching that buck and a small 4 pt(I think) comes in from behind me. The 4 pt comes out and the small 8 point that was chasing the does comes running to challenge him. The spar for about 10 seconds and the 4 pt backs down. Then the 8 pt goes on the other side of the field to check on the does again. Then, I notice the 4 pt. looking into the woods and get really tense. Out pops another small buck. They spar for about 30 secs. and the 4 pt. backs down again. By now its getting dark and I decide to hit the can one last time. The winner of the last fight starts coming to me so I got ready. I let him get to 10 yards, with my mouth I stopped him, and shot. It was all but dark and I could beraly see his body. I hear the thump and he runs about 10 yards, stops, legs getting woobly, and crashes into the woods. Then he crashes back on the edge, takes 2 more breathes, and he is down. Whew, he was a nice lil 6 pt. Not to bad for my first buck with bow. I will post a pic as soon as the film develops. Sorry this was so long, but thats just how it had to be!!
