Default Bohning Blazers

I am looking to try something new this archery season. I have been using the Bohning Fletch-Tite vanes for two years now, but I have heard good things about the Bohning Blazers. Are the Blazers better than the Fletch-Tite vanes, and why?

As always, your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Call Bohning and ask for some samples. They'll send them to you, fletch a few arrows and decide for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

The are not really "better" but the do offer excellent control with some wieght savings, and they make it easier to get good fletching clearance from your rest. They are also the best vane for shooting through the WB rest that I have found.

Durable with a capital D! Shoot most any other vane through a target and they're wavy at best or totally ruined.

Shoot a blazer through and it almost never is any worse for wear.

I love them and won't shoot anything else for hunting arrows. Wish I could use them in HC 3D, I would have them on everything. I have the blazer minis on my open class 3D arrows as well as my skinny FITA arrows.
