Default Couple years late.... pics.

I made it out for some spring scouting, Iwas pretty happy with some awesome whitetail sign. This year looks reallygood, the winter wasn't very harsh and we have had a nice spring so far.

The early season browse is coming in strong and I also saw 2 bucks on the ride home sporting 2-3 inches offresh growth each.

As for the thread name. I found these in an area I have walked many times over the past couple years, but never seemed to find them until today..... The busted main beamwas droppedat least 2-3 yearsago minimum and the chewed one I would suspect was shed two years ago. To bad I didn't find them a year or two ago.

As they sit they score 55 and 56 inches respectively. The broken beam buckwould score mid 140's- as an 8 point. The chewed up onemaybe low 160's if 100% intact. That's giving 3 inches for the chewed off g4 and with a 18 inch spread credit. Both sheds have 5" plus bases.

I, too, am wondering what shed that hat? Is it a species that can be found round here?

From HNIjustin for being part of "Huntingnet's amateur hunting staff", just a fancy title for being offered a spot for HNI's Field Journals.

I was wondering if anyone would pick up my lame attempt at humor.....[8D]
Also, I put it there for a size reference gauge.
