Default Summit Goliath

I am thinking about purchasing one of these stands. If anyone has one, I would like to hear what you think of them? Also, which bow holder is good with this stand? Any info would be appreciated.

brirute,
I have one......And absoflippinlutely LOVE the thing.

I plan on doing a full blown review in a week or so since I've had a month to haul it around and up and down trees. I can tell you this, I have never felt safer and more secure in ANY stand period. Its soooo comfortable and solid you honestly forget you're 25 feet up.
I have mine tricked out a bit with a footrest, platform pad, and a front gear bag (that one's a must).
You really won't need a bowholder at all.......with the front bar you can just lay your bow across it right in front of you and sit there comfortably.
I couldn't be happier with mine.
And I'd also say that its not just for "Big" guys.....if you just want a sit-stand climber with a little more room this one is tops.

Matt,

Thanks for the info. I am a big guy so this thing might be right up my alley. Which gear bag do you have??

I don't have the goliath, but I did get the Viper xls. It's my first climber, and I love it. I do almost all of my hunting out of it. They are so easy to hook up that it is rediculous.

brirute,
Summit makes (or at least markets ) their own bags for their stands.
I have the Front gear bag that snaps on the climber bar......How I ever lived without one of these I'll never know. Binos,Rangefinder, etc etc right in front of you at your fingertips, but out of the way completely when you need to shoot.
