Default First 5 spot league shoot

Participated in my first 5 spot shoot tonight. Loved it!!

What would a good score be for someone who has only been into bowhunting since last September (5 months)?

Somewhere above oh......say......5...... Shoot, I don't know. Depends on the shooter. The idea is to steadily improve. Glad you enjoy it.

Not sure I know what fiver spot is. Is that the bags with 5 spots?

The indoor leagues I have shot were animals on targets and 3D inside. Not familiar with 5 spot though! [&:]

That's a good score, Keep practicing, and you should in the 290's by the end of the season.

I had 3 bad rounds where I only scored 21 points....which was my lowest point total. I shoot alot at home but I still didn't know exactly what to expect.

In hindsight I think I could have easily shot 285. At least I have something to improve on.

I shot five days in a row once trying for 60 Xs, I got 59 all five days. One of those days I shot 59 in a row, then choked on the last one!

HEHEHEHE.....I witnessed my buddy do that same thing a few nites ago! Keep shooting and you'll get it! I didn't even attempt to shoot in the 5 spot last weekend at the 3d tourny with my old bow. I end up with a 336 out of 380 on the 3d. I woulda done alot better but I didn't know where to shoot alot of the targets.

Thats a very respectable score. I shot on Tue. and ended up with a 289 (pulled two shots bad and got 1's). A friend of mine who just started archery this year took the Allegiance I sold him a few weeks ago and shot a 279 with it on Tue.
