I bought one a few weeks ago, but it doesn't work with my camera (plus my camera is pretty expensive, and I really didn't want to leave it in woods)... But I am in the process of finding a used Sony Camera... But it seems pretty darn Nice... Can't wait to get it out there and see what it can do...

YES, I bought one back in Sept. and I love it. It is so neat to watch the way deer act when your not around. It's really amazing. But don't buy it together from Bass Pro or Cabelas, its to high like that. I bought the camera from Sears then went to my local archery shop and had them order the box part. You save almost $300 like that.

Has anyone else bought the Wildlife Eye (without camera) $299 and bought their own video camera to use with it?

Which camera?
How much?

How is it working?
Drawbacks?
Battery life?

It seems to me that you can come close to the price of Cuddeback No Flash($449) if you buy the Wildlife Eye (without camera) and use another camera.

I picked one up last year as well... And then I bought a Sony Camcorder off ebay... Works like a champ, has Night Vision and everything... Totally Awesome to see the deer walking around... I am getting ready to set mine up again, I'll see if I can get a video clip onto the computer before I put it out... Very Cool though...
