Rut in Northern Minnesota

Rut in Northern Minnesota
Does any one know if the rut is going on in northern minnesota? I see scrapes and rubs all over the place but i had a nice buck come within range but he didn't follow the four does that were going a different direction. And i didn't have a good shot on the buck.

The rut isnt into fullo swing yet but it is close. Seen and heard alot of antlers crashing together. Seen a nice 8 running about 10 doe the other night . They didnt have anything to do with him but he was readdy
