Default Well water vs. county or city water

I thought about this the other day. Right now I have well water but in a few more months I will be on county water. County water and city water have been treated with chlorine, flouride and who knows what else. Well water is more natural and is untreated. Reckon county water with all it's chemicals leaves a sent in your clothes and on you? Thanks, Scott Woody

No offense, but well water smells a lot worse in my opinion. Plus there are detergents that take the smells out, or scentless that is.

Well water is better, at least because of it's taste for me. As for leaving a scent i'm not sure would have to gather some more scientist to figure that out for us.

I'd say the majority of us on these boards are using city/county water with some sort of unscented detergent to clean our clothes. Personally I don't think there would be any difference to the deer but that is my opinion. If it's really a big concern put some 5 gallon buckets under your downspouts and collect rain water for washing your clothes.

I LOVE WELL WATER.
If you have water that stinks (sulfer?)the get a treatment for it.
The last house I had had great well water.
When I bought this one it had low ph and left blue stains in the sink,so I put in a calcite system with with a softener and once again it's great.
Well over city any day.
