Duravanes
I have shot bonning (spelling) vanes for about 15 years. I have not had any real problems but thought there must be something better out by now. I bought 200 Duravanes and BOY was I dissapointed. They are good flying vanes but just touch one with a field point and it rips a hole. I even filed the points off and was really proud of myself until one of the arrows in the first group got a big hole in it. I will use these up,which shouldn't take to long at the rate I'm ripping them up,and NEVER buy any more. Anybody got a good suggestion on a good durable vane.

RE: Duravanes
DoninVa, you may be looking at this the wrong way! If you are shooting that good that you are tearing up vanes, you are just a tick away from tearing up arrows next. At that point, you are`nt gonna be worried about vanes anymore.
Try aiming at different spots when you are practicing.
