Bug proof suits
I recently purchased a bug proof suit. They claim that misquitos and other biting insects can not penetrate the material.
Has anyone used these suits and if so, do they work?
Any info is much appreciated

RE: Bug proof suits
I use a Shannon's Bug Tamer, and it really works..The looser the better...I noticed one day that I was getting bit on my knees. I had stuffed the suit's legs deep down into my boots, and when I set down, they were pulled tight arond my knees. All I had to do was to pull the legs back out of my boots a little, which eliminated the tension on my knees....Visibility is not to great when using the face net portion, so I don't cover my face with it. I was told to paint the viewing area black which will help.
For the time being, I use a 3/4 face mask with eye openings and a cap that works fairly well......I have to shew a few misquitos away from my eyes at times.

RE: Bug proof suits
I have a Shannon's Bug Tamer that I am NOT happy with.
The face mask lacks A LOT in the visibility area.
The bugs can and do find ways to penetrate.
I am considering recreating a John Travolta Boy in the Bubble type outfit for the opener down here on Saturday!!!!

I have been considering cutting eye holes in both of my shannon bug tamer outfits. Once I cut the eyeholes I will add elastic material to the outside of the eyeholes to hold the eyeholes tight to my head. If they buzz my eyes I can usually blink excessively to get them to go away.
Just haven't got the nerve up to do it yet, once I cut it there ain't no goin back.
