I am going to get the Rocket WOLVERINE Broadhead. http://www.rocketaerohead.com/Produc...duct_line.html

I am not sure if i want the 3 or 4 blade version. What would the differences be? Would i have a hard time finding 78grain field tips if i go with the 4 blade version. Also does anyone have these, and if so do you like them?

Thanks

I would go with a 3 blade version, they will penetrate better, and provide plenty of cut. I would also recomend you have at least 55 ft/lbs of bow energy to shoot most mechanical heads.

I'm not sure what you mean that you would have to have a 78 grain field point. Do you mean that you want to have exactly the same grain for your field tips as your broahheads? Because if it is 3 grains is not gonna do much of anything. Heck you probably have 3 grains of fluctuation in your arrows now and you don't even know it. Don't worry about the three grain difference. Those are some light arrows that you are going to be shooting. You may want to check with your manufacturer if your bow can handle it or if it will void your warranty. Also make sure you have a proper FOC and KE for hunting with your arrows. Your arrows are a far cry from my 175 grain field points.

Good Luck to you.
