Think the reflex bows have the right ideas....I would be shoting for a 7 to 71/2 brace hieght and 230 to 245 amo hunting bow.

I have a buckskin with a whisker biscuit, gold tips, and hundred grain arrows set at 67 lbs and my bow shoots 280fps with a 29 inch draw.
