Default Z7 value?

A fellow I know has an exrta Matthews Z7. He wants $600 for it. He always buys the latest Matthews bow when they hit the market and keeps two bows set up for hunting. The bow looks like it is in great shape. Is the price right?

Sounds like a good deal. Most are going from 625 - 675 used. A new one is 769 here in Ohio.

Thanks for the response. I will be seeing the seller over the upcoming holidays, and may just come home with that Z7.

It is a naked bow. I have sights, rest, etc. from another bow to put on it.

JMO but I would buy new to get the lifetime warranty. But the price is not bad.

I did look at the bow, but did not buy it. It was a nice bow, apparently priced right, and it I shot it well enough. I can't explain it, but it just did not feel right for me.

I wanted to like and buy the Z7 but I did not like the feel either. When they are that close to the new price you are better off buying new anyway so you can get a full warranty. Check out some other bows and buy what feels best in your hand. I like the way the Mathews bows are built but I never could find one that really felt good in my hand, I prefer the feel of a Bowtech, Diamond or Elite.
