Default Strothers SR71

Just took my new Strothers SR71 out to put a few arrows through it tonight. Man that thing is sweet. Absolutely no hand shock at all, super quiet, smooth drawing and it doesnt feel like its going to rip your shoulder out of socket when you let it down either. After getting it dialed in out to 40 and shooting a few groups I ran it through the chronograph to see what she was doing. The bow it set at 70lbs at 29" draw with a string loop and peep sight installed. I was getting 294fps with a 460 grain arrow which is 88 ft. lbs. of energy and I got 316fps with a 385 grain arrow which is 85 ft. lbs. There are a few bows out there that are a bit faster but I didnt think were as smooth, out of the ones Ive shot the Strothers fit me the best.

Have heard great things about the new Strothers line. If i would have had a dealership close by, i may well of had one myself. I heard they have had some delivery time issues as well....Being they are so new, i'm sure they will get it all worked out, as im sure they could not have foreseen this much demand. A strothers may very well be my next bow purchase, if they are this good out of the gate, they should have some outstanding models upcoming.
