Default Trophy Taker Rest???

I just got a Shakey Hunter and am having huge problems getting it sighted in. Has anybody else had this happen?

What issues are you having with it. I have a TT Pronghorn on my Ally and it's flawless. I actually don't understand your question, getting a rest sighted in? Are you refering to not being able to tune the bow, bad arrow flight?

Is your center shot correct? I know me and Rob had to saw off part of one side to get it right on my Switchback.

I am checking all of that next week. However, with my old rest I was dead on. I had to move my sight so far left that I only see half of it through my peep. The arrow flight is inconsistant as some arrows go high, some low. I am, not saying I am the world's best shot but 20 yards isn't really that hard for practice and I can not hit the the 10 at all. More or less I knowing it is some type of tuning problem. I am just curious if others of had this too. That may give me some idaes on where to start. Thanks guys.

You sawed off part of one side to get it right on your Switchback?

That should not happen!

I would love to hear more. PM me if you can. I shoot a TT on a SBXT.

Oh yes my friend it should happen. He (tkycaller) has the Shakey Huner on the SB and it was necessary to saw off the inside arm slightly to acheive true center shot. That's the facts and once we did this, his bow was/is perfectly tuned and is shooting perfect arrow flight.

I had to do this on a Parker as well. The Shakey Hunter rest prongs are way wide.

You don't have center shot. Reads like you have your rest set too far out.
