Default Hoyt Avenger?

I shoot a Hoyt Havoctec and am thinking about the Avenger as an upgrade. I like the short bows and the large brace height. I would take a Katera but "for me" the short brace is awkward.

What are your thoughts on the Avenger...Any word??

It's a really nice bow for the money. I like them pretty well.

My co worker at the shop is trying to sell his fully set up.

PM me if you're that interested.

Just got the 2008 Hoyt Avenger. The Avenger is awesome! It's well built and very quiet. I'm only shooting 57# and can't believe how it launches and arrow at 40 yards. I highly recommend this bow.

I personally think the Avenger is the sleeper in the Hoyt line up. Awesome bows....great performance w/out breaking the bank.
