Default SUMMIT STANDS ?

Does SUMMIT have anything new in their line-up for 2003 ? I have an older Summit but want one that's a lot lighter.

I don't know if they have anything new for this year, but my COBRA XLS is AWESOME! And is plenty light, compared to the older SUMMIT stands.

For bowhunting, the Cobra XLS is hard to beat.

I was told they have some new hang on stands as well aas climbers coming out this year, but I have not seen any of them yet. I am sure whatever they come up with will be first class though.

Summit has a couple of new things out. They have two FOLDING treestands that are also climbers. One is named the BULLET if I am correct and the other is the same as the viper but they fold down for a slimmer package when entering and leaving the woods. They also have new hang ons and new hang on system. The hang ons are supposed to be a pretty solid system even though it does not appear to be when you first see them. They are all good looking and quality built stands. If you are in the market it is really worth giving the new summit line a look. They also have a new ratchet on tree climbing steps. They look pretty sweet. They are based on the climbing stick principle but are much more versitle. they are sweet.

Check out my post in the bowhunting board. The new line sounds great, and I am sure they will all be excellent stands!
