Default FRED BEAR ELEMENT

I have the chance to purchase a 1 month old Fred Bear Element bow. The bow was professionaly set up by a pro shop and includes the whole package: bow, case, arrows, field tips, broadheads, release etc. I can purchase the bow package for $400.

It seems to be a good deal. Any feedback for the Fred Bear Element would be greatly appreciated.

Got one for my son last year Christmas. Pretty nice little bow. Not real fast - I think the real IBO should be listed at about 290 instead of 305. Quiet and reasonably accurate. My sources tell me that the entire line of Bear bows is being upgraded for 2008. Our local Sportsman's Warehouse has The Truth bows on sale for $369. I would think if you held out you might be able to pick up a 2007 Element for a real steal.

It is true that the Bear line is being upgraded but i haven't seen that big of a price reduction yet! Where do you live Roskoe?

The Sportsman's Warehouse with the Truth bows on sale is in Colorado Springs. It might be a couple months before you see closeouts at other outlets.
