5 Shot - Problem with Magnus inserts??
Posted this on the traditional forum also. Just got a package of 6 125 grain 4 blade screw in Magnus broadheads from a dealer. The inserts were very poorly installed and crooked. It appears like the inserts were installed with hot melt glue. Dripped down the insert. Made my arrows spin like druken monkeys Is this typical and how do I fix, just heat up and reset? Using these based on your great reviews Should I switch to the new Stingers? I'm shooting a long bow, 61#.

That is one problem you can encounter with that style of head. It is no big deal. Just heat the head and insert just enough to release the bond and make the head spin on the insert. Push down while turing the head. Check to see if it spins true. It should, but if not try again until it does. I know Magnus would fix them for you, but it is easy to do. I would contact them however. Just to let them know it happend. I know they want to do everything they can to keep this from happening. As for the 125 grain stinger, it is the finest two blade broadhead I have tested. I believe my review speaks for it'self. Both heads are great, and I think you will be happy either way.

Thanks, I'll try it myself. No use sending them back if I can do it. I think I'll also pick up some of the new stingers. Thanks again and keep up the good work on the broadhead tests.
