Default 5 Shot-- HELP ME PLEASE

I was up at walmart n they have both the thunderheads (100 gr.) and muzzy (4 blade 100 and 125 gr.) both for under $10 which is why I am going to have to go back up there to get them 2day!! My question is this. With terminator carbon arrows, would the thunderheads 100gr. fit w/out the u.b.a.r.'s or would i have to buy them also if those were to fit...should I buy the thunderheads, or the muzzy's?? I know that the thunderheads have a 1 3/16" cutting diameter and the muzzy's have a 1 1/8" cutting diameter. I preferrably would like the larger cutting diameter but if the thunderheads would require the u.b.a.r.'s then i'd go with the muzzy's, also how do both shoot and how do they compare against eachother?? Which one would you choose? thanks!!

If you shoot the Thunderheads on Carbon arrows, you will need the UBAR's. The Muzzys are my personal head of choice. Infact I picked up 4 packs of the 4 blade 100 grn heads for 8 bucks a piece a couple of weeks ago. The 100 grn 4 blade has a 1" cutting diameter, but the total cutting surface is more than the three blade heads with a 1 3/16" diameter. The 125 grn 4 blade Muzzy has a 1 1/8" cutting diameter. It doesn't penetrate quite as well as the small heads with less blades, but it puts one heck of a hole in what it hits. My personal choice would be the 4 blade 100 grn Muzzy. To be honest though you won't go wrong with any of the choices, just make sure to use the UBAR's with the thunderheads, if that is the way you go.

thanks 5-shot, right now i'm kinda in between the 4blade 100 gr. or the 4 blade 125 gr. but since everyone (and you) say that the 100gr. penetrate better, than maybe i will lean toward those. Thanks a bunch!!

For that price I would buy everything they had and sort it out later. Believe me someone would buy anything you had left. elknut1
