I eat some and use some for fertilizer too.

Early cold water Spring carp taste fine....... carp from warm muddy water in the dog days of Summer taste a lot like warm muddy water.

Carp (common, silver, bighead) are all invasive non-native fish. Don't feel bad if you can't eat them all or give them all away. Removal of these fish from our waters is endorsed by conservation groups such as the Native Fish Conservancy.

Bowfishing = cleaning up our waterways, one carp at a time.

Generally speaking, I don't shoot what I won't eat. Rough fish, however, are the exception.
