A AMS Retreiver Reel is about $55 to $60. You can spend $10 for a cheap fiberglass arrow and point or get into the $50 range for a high quality stainless tip and triple laminated Carbon/Aluminum arrow.

Good Luck and Aim Low!

One more thing BigBuck90........I really suggest picking up a cheap used bow.....Your good Deer rig will get pretty messed up. Usually for $40 to $60 you can find a good old cheap compound and then I recomend a Bowfishing Whisker Biskit arrow rest. Then your set!

Good Luck!

I would recommend an old recurve at 50# - it's lighter to hold all day or night and easier to get snap shots off.

i shoot a oneida black eagle with a shakespeare synergy 20 real on a muzzy real seat with a muzzy rod tip

as far as arrows go if we are shooting spotted gar or small carp 10# and under i use a sureshot for faster release

for big fish gator gar or bufflo 30#'s plus i use muzzy for a better hold on the fish

i hope this helps
