Default Bowfishing around Chesapeake Bay

First off, is anyone out here from around the Chesapeake Bay (Virginia & MD) area? And if so, do you bowfishing around the area?

post this question on www.bowfishusa.com also. It will help your odds of finding people from your area.

I do a bit of shooting on the upper end of the bay for carp and gar... have had plans for several years to shoot rays when they come in down by Chesapeake beach, but haven't gotten to that yet... it'll happen this year... if you have a boat, the ray shooting should be good down on the Va. side...

Rockfish,

I don't have a boat, but a friend of mine has a sailboat - totally incompatible with bowfishing, I know.

If you're going sometime this summer let me know. I'd be glad to join you if you can spare an extra bow.
