Default Month Long Tournament (April)

The NFC"™s Month Long Exotic"™s Fishing Tournament




The Native Fish Conservancy (NFC) is proud to sponsor its first Exotic Fishing Tournament. Cash and Prizes will be awarded to the teams that permanently remove the most exotic fishes during the month of April 2005.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Ø Entry fee $15 per team
Ø Two categories: Carp and Non-Carp Exotics
Ø Minimum $200 prize money awarded to 1st Place Team in each Category
Ø T-Shirts awarded to 1st Place Team in each Category
Ø T-shirts on sale for $10; Monies from sale of T-shirts added to Tournament payout
Ø 100% Payback of all entry fees.


TOURNAMENT RULES:
Ø Each team will consist of two or three persons.
Ø All teams must have at least one NFC member.
Ø Winners will be chosen based on the total number of exotics removed during the entire month of April 2005.
Ø All fish totals must be signed each team member.
Ø All decisions of the judges are final. Cheaters will be disqualified.
Ø Any legal fishing means is acceptable for this tournament.
Ø Clear pictures, short description of lake, type of exotic and dates taken must accompany each fish total.

You don't need too heavy of a pull. 35-55#'s is ideal.

The legalities of bowfishing depend on where you are located. (where are you located?)

Spring, during the spawning season is usually best, but some folks bowfish all year round.

Biggest pointer.. join up with some experienced bowfishers, they usually have different equipment that you can try out.. and they can give you lots of pointers.
