Default Can't shoot redfish bowhunting?

I'm just now getting into getting my own lights for my boat... I was told redfish weren't legal to shoot with a bow... Is this true?

Yes, you can't shoot any gamefish with a bow.

Wait, yes, you can shoot redfish in LA. There are size limits and creel limits but at this time it is legal.

There is however a push to make it illegal. Even tho' there is no indication that bowfishing has any impact on the redfish population.

See this thread: http://bow.fishingcountry.com/bfcfor...610#post585610

also, always look at your state's current fishing regulations before going out.

Good luck with the boat!
