Default Real Nice Gar

Not sure what kind it was (maybe someone can shed some light on it)

Anyway, I wasn't there but my buddy shot this nice gar in the same location that all my other pics have come from this summer. Not a great pic, but you can defiantly see how long it is. Right over five feet I think.

Note: The edit (if you can see it) is to blur out another friend not being very appropriate)

Yup, that's a longnose. I read that they can get up around 60 lbs, though most are alot smaller.

On monday I caught a 47" longnose, using a stiff rig and a lure made out of frayed nylon rope on a jig head. The strands get tangled-up in their teeth and they are caught solid.

Mine wasn't as big as that monster though, that's definitely a good one!

Not sure, I don't think they ever put it on a scale
