The funny thing is I do have fish fries at my place all the time! I am at college so for snacks instead of ramen noodles or something like that I cook some fish, and while I am at it I fry up a bunch of extra and give it to the guys on my hall who all think my carp is amazingly great compared to things like Long John Silvers or the cafeteria food! The French Broad river I get them from at school is always getting run off from a TVA lake and stays cool and clear all the time so the carp really aren't bad when you take out the red meat and cook them fresh.
