OKB, I made the mount from a piece of 1/8th inch thick aluminum bar-stock I got from Menards. I used a file to angle the edges and then I drilled holes through it and the reel-seat and tapped the holes in the seat. I screwed the aluminum piece to the reel-seat and used a scope rail mount to attach the flashlight to it. The flashlight came with the pressure switch. It's a run-of-the-mill tactical-light. I think I paid $25 or $30 for it. I usually have it on my air-rifle for possums at night in my yard. It really lights up an area. I have yet to use it for bowfishing, but I know it'll work great. I think it'll be perfect for bigheads, if I ever get out after them.

I shot it in the back yard, just to see how it lit up. It looks great. I have a barn about 35 yards from my back door and it lit it up well enough I could make out the padlock easily.
