Default This is all I could do on Tilapia monday...

Between the rain muddying up the water and the unseasonably cold April in Central Texas, the shots were few and far between (did my share of missing too... rusty I guess).

But the big plate of rolled-in-cornmeal and friedfillets with ketchup by the quart, made all of the driving and walking worthwhile!

Default They are some of the best table-fish I've eaten...

I put them right up there with Snapper etc. especially when they are fresh from the lake.

You know fence-post, I was the King of Oklahoma for awhile... gave it up to herd goats!

i went out the other weekend and shot approximately 50 pounds (filleted) of talapia. they are everywhere here. they averaged between 3 and 10 pounds a piece.
