How many of you spend most of your bowfishing time sneaking and shooting from the bank? This is my gameplan most of the time, as i primarily fish rivers & creeks. I'll wear waiders so i can shoot from either bank. I havnt been bowfishing from a boat yet, JW if anybody prefers "carphunting" from the bank vs. shooting from the boat.

i shoot from the bank a lot. but i also shoot out of a boat. a boat is a lot easier but there is something about sneaking up on them that is just so much more fun. but if i had to pick i would go with the boat. good luck.

I love stalking fishfrom the bank.
Did it for 15+ years before I ever tried the boat thing, or shooting at night.
It's low tech, inexpensive, and simple.

The only thing that keeps me from doing more of it is a lack of available shoreline. Most around here is in city limits where there are laws against shooting a bow, or private land where the owners are sick of everybody and their brother asking for permission to hunt/fish on their land.

Still there are a few good spots, and it's a great way to get out when you don't have much time.

Good video! Looks a lot like the bridge across the back of our local lake.
I like to wade the "flats" on a local lake that has severalacres of water only a fewinches deep but with several canals through it.
