Unlike past Bowfishing championships that utilize a single event to determine the years champions. The SBCS will be utilizing five preexisting larger tournaments in the southeastern states to determine the 2008 Champions. Participants will have the chance to accrue points towards the series championship event by participation and placement in these events, and will also receive bonus points for winning the championship final event. Once all the points are totaled at the end of the series, the winning team will know, as well as the bowfishing community, who the best of the best is for 2008.

The Muzzy Classic (Lake Guntersville AL)
The Sportsman Warehouse Classic (Chickamauga Lake TN)
The Backwater Bowfishing, Guntersville Shootout (Lake Gunterville AL)
The World"™s (Lafitte LA)

The Southeastern Bowfishing Championship Series Finale will be held on Georgia"™s own Clark Hill Lake, Saturday August 23. Clark Hill borders both Georgia and south Carolina and offers hundreds of miles of coves and backwater to fish.
