northeast ohio, akron canton area. I dont even have a bowfisin rig yet, what should i look into? and do you use sights on them or do you just kinda, point and hope?

I grew up in Canton. A lot of common carp in all the streams and rivers around there. I don't use sights and don't know of anyone who does. We shoot instinctive, which actually takes a little practice until you learn where/how to aim using the arrow gap and such.
