Colorado Bowfishing Association First Annual Tournament.
We had the Colorado State Bowfisher's association bowfishing tournament today and had pretty good turn out with some good times had.

Winning weight for First place team 245lbs4oz
Second place 155lbs14oz (Buddy and me)
Third place 29lbs5oz
For me the highlight of the day was this.
I shot the big fish of the day and set a new Colorado State Record for Carp with a bow.

that is great maybe when i'm down in Colo., visiting my daughter. i can come shoot with you guys one of these times. i have shot a few carp in San Luis valley in the past. any shooting in fall?

This is great ! I was at Carter lake for the first time this last weekend . I took my bow (that I have never tried to fish with) with me , thinking it would be a good oppertunity to try out the new boat and a new sport . This will be a great help this summer . I hope to join you in a future carp hunt .
