Default biggun (updated new pic)






I shot this a few years back in Ballard Co Ky.If the arrow wasn't turned just right it would have cut it in half.[8D]

There was actually a contest for biggest and smallest gar going at the time.When I checked it in they asked to see the hole.



Needles to say,I WON.[8D]

I was afraid to pull the arrow back through because when I started to,it acted like the fish was going to cut in half.[]so I cut the string.If you look close you can see it.

The worst part isI missed one right afterwards that was pushing 5'.[]

I can't believe I told that on myself.

In my defense we were in the middle of the lake and he just rolled up on the surface and was gone again.I almost fell out of the boat to get the shot off.

so being from kentucky tfox, where do you bowfish. i just got done setting my back up bow for bowfishing with a retriever and was wondering where a goold lake/river would be? ive got a jon boat with a deck ( not elevated) and no lights so id have to go during the day. any suggestions?
