Hi all. The New Zealand BowHunters Society is holding their annual World Koi Carp Classic bowfishing tournament again on the 4th,5th,6th November at Lake Waahi near Huntly in New Zealand. Come join us for a great few days of bowfishing with the plentiful numbers of carp in the mighty Waikato area. Over the last few carp classics there has been around one hundred entrants each time and a total haul of3 to 3 and a half tonnes of koi carp with numbers of mullet, grass carp and white carp also being shot. Come and enjoy the fun and try some of our other great bowfishing while you are here. For more info look at the New Zealand Bowhunters Society website.
7,000 pounds of fish ?!
Yeowza!
Shooting Koi would be a nice change from our common crap (I mean carp).
I'm in. Now I just need enough sponsorships to cover travel, room and board, and the physical therapist to help out my poor blisteredfingers from shooting so much.
Good luck.
I hope you have a great turnout again.
