rend lake,,anyone been there lately???

just wondering if anyone has been to rend lake lateley,,and if they have
has it been good,,,im ready to go

The Illinois Bowfishers hold shoots there every year (check out the ILsubforum), and bag hundreds of fish. Lots of both carp and gar. So many gar, in fact, that the game fishes' young are sufferring the effects.

Go give them all you've got.

i plan on talkin to afreind of mine tonight at work and see if he is interested in going sometime this week,,,hope so,,,just have to leave right after work and get down there about 8:00 am.

well,,,didn't get to go this week,,our schedules didnt match up to where we could go,,,,was planning to take wife and kids with me today,,,but thunderstorm put us out for that,,,,still itchin to go,,may still go to the local lake and try there for a couple of hours,,havent decided yet
